Prince Charles - The Prince of Wales

Born 14^th November 1948 in London, England

He was the first member of the Royal Family to graduate from university; he studied archaeology, anthropology and finally history at the University of Cambridge, completing his studies in 1970.

He holds many titles, including the president of the Royal Shakespeare Company, Rear-Admiral in the Royal Navy, Major-General in the Army and Air Vice-Marshal in the Royal Air Force and is a member of the House of Lords. He became the Prince of Wales in 1958.

He is the father of Prince William and Prince Harry and next in line for the throne.

He has done a lot of work for charity, including creating the Prince’s Trust, which allocates grants for aspiring young people, and as part of The National Trust he has helped to secure much of Wales’ unique landscape from development.

Byl prvním členem královské rodiny, který absolvoval universitu, studoval archeologii, antropologii a nakonec historii na cambridgeské univerzitě. Studia ukončil v roce 1970. Vlastní mnoho titulů, mimo jiné prezident Královské Shakespearovské společnosti, kontraadmirál Královského námořnictva, generál major v armádě a letecký vice-maršál britského královského letectva a člen Sněmovny lordů. Princem z Walesu se stal v roce 1958. Je otcem prince Williama a prince Harryho a další nástupce trůnu. Udělal hodně práce pro charitu, vytvořil Prince’s Trust, který přiděluje granty ctižádostivým mladým lidem a jako část The National Trust, kterému pomohl zajistit hodně velšských jedinečných krajin ze zástavby.
